Ford Mustang dedicated space program "Apollo"



Ford has prepared a special modification of a sports car Mustang, dedicated to the program "Apollo" - the American manned space flight project. The public premiere of the car will take place at the end of July at annual meeting fans Aviation EAA Air Venture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.


Exclusive modification “Mustang” - Apollo Edition - was developed by "Ford" brand under the leadership of designer Melvin Betancourt. The sports car was developed body kit with a massive front splitter made of carbon-fibre rear diffuser, door sill body, a rear spoiler and a new hood.

On the seat headrests embroidered with the logo of the "Apollo", and at the rear - the emblem of manned flights in the project. In addition, refined instrument panel, gear lever and thresholds as well as the rear seats removed.
